Postage and handling Charge for Sales and Hire

All parcels are posted by express post .I have a set charge of $9.95 for any parcel. If you buy several items the charge still remains at $9.95 If you are hiring and add some accessories the post charge still remains at $9.95 For hire returns you will receive an addressed return express post bag. This will also be only a $9.95 charge. When you post back your hire you sign the bag and take your no label of the bag, keep it in a safe place as this your proof of postage. Refund Policy for Sale Items

I try to reduce any room for error as much as possible with accurate sizes and detailed information along with the images. If for some genuine reason a costume needs to be returned I will give you a refund if you post it back promptly by express post and I receive it at the Merriwa PO within 3 days. We are unable to cancel orders that are already prepared and are with Australia post for delivery. The order will need to be delivered then posted back to us. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only and do not include postage, handling and Pay Pal charge for payments made. Any return received with missing items or not in the original condition without original packaging in tact will not be credited.

Sizing for Hire Products

Please take special notice of the measurements supplied with each individual costume and compare these to your own measurements. If you are in any doubt please email me, as I will be able to help you. It is impossible to have a size chart with standard measurements, as my costumes are not mass-produced unless they are a packaged costume and I only have a select few of them in my range. A lot of the costumes included vintage items and sizing have changed drastically over the years depending on where something is made .It is impossible to say someone is a specific size 8 10 12 etc. as you will know given all brands are different.

Security Bond Refunds

Refunds for security bonds placed on hire costumes are credited back into your Pay Pal account or nominated bank account. For a refund into your nominated bank account you will need to email me which bank you bank with, your account name, BSB & account no.

Late Fees for Hire Items Not Returned by Due Date

Return addressed express post bags are provided with the costume hire and the nominated return date is pre set between the customer and Christina. Products not returned by the nominated due date incur a late fee of $15 per night per costume. If you have a genuine reason for a late return please email me promptly.

Extended hire period

If you wish to hire a costume for a longer period please email me ASAP as the charge will probably be cheaper than the original hire or late fees.

Cancellations of Hire Products before Despatch

If the order is cancelled before the despatch date a $20 booking is forfeited from the security bond. Any refunds due after cancellation fee can be credited refunded to your Pay Pal account or to your nominated bank account. You will need to email me who you bank with, your account name, BSB & account no .

General terms and Conditions of Hire

Any costume hire paid for and posted is classed as hire. No exchanges or refunds.

Products lost or damaged must be paid for in full. Christina reserves the right to set the cost of replacement or repair. The replacement cost is the amount of the security bond. The customer agrees that Christina is entitled to debit the customers bond for the replacement cost or part of for a damaged costume that can be repaired or part of that maybe lost but can be replaced. Any costume not returned within 5 days of the due date will be deemed as lost.

The hire of any costume is entirely at the risk of the customer and the customer indemnifies Christina against all actions, liabilities, proceedings, claims, costs and expenses in connection with or arising from the hiring of the costume by the customer from her.
